Love to eat mushrooms on a pizza or do you go crazy over mushroom risotto? Where do you get these mushrooms from and what are mushroom spores? Every living thing on the planet has the power to reproduce and the mushroom spores are the reproductive cells that are responsible for the growth and replication of the fungus. What are mushroom spores? The classic definition of mushroom spores says that it is a unicellular organism that allows reproduction in the mushroom producing fungi. You will find mushroom spores in the gills, pores or teeth of the mushrooms or on the underside of the mushroom cap. Teeth, gills or pores can be understood as the size and shape of the spore-producing part of the mushroom. Do all mushrooms produce mushroom spores all the time? Certainly not!
